this is mainly because the application of insulating glass can improve the effect of heat and sound insulation of doors and windows, so that door and window products can not only protect against wind and rain, but also have a significant energy-saving effect, reducing the cost of heating in winter and cooling in summer
first of all, introduce the types of insulating glass and the five indicators in the national standard of insulating glass:
at present, there are two kinds of insulating glass in the domestic market
1. Trough aluminum insulating glass: this kind of insulating glass was introduced in the 1980s, which is relatively mature, but the processing technology is more complex
2. Aluminum strip insulating glass: this kind of insulating glass started late in China, but the manufacturing process is simple, so it has a wide range of applications and is promoted quickly

1. Glass cutting and blanking
the original piece of glass is generally colorless float glass or other colored glass, sun shading glass, toughened glass, laminated glass, and the thickness is generally mm. The above glass must comply with the provisions of the new national standard for flat glass gb11614, high-quality products, first-class products, and can be used after inspection
glass cutting can be carried out by hand or machine, but it should meet the size requirements. During the operation of this process, workers should always pay attention to the fact that the glass surface should not be scratched, the internal quality should be uniform, and there should be no obvious defects such as bubbles and slag inclusions
2. Glass cleaning and drying
machine cleaning must be used for glass cleaning, because manual cleaning cannot guarantee the quality of cleaning and will achieve an annual operating revenue of more than 1billion yuan
before cleaning, check that the glass is free of scratches. In order to ensure the adhesion between sealant and glass, it is best to use deionized water. In addition, in order to ensure water recycling and save water resources, water can be filtered to ensure long-term use
the cleaned glass should pass the light inspection to check whether there are water drops, water stains and other stains on the glass surface. If there are water drops, water stains and other stains, the machine running speed, heating temperature, air volume and brush clearance should be adjusted until the effect is perfect
the washed glass should be assembled into insulating glass within 1 hour. In addition, it is necessary to ensure that there is no friction and scratch between the glass and the glass. It is best to have a semi-finished glass storage car to separate the glass pieces
3. Assembly of aluminum strip insulating glass
(1) requirements for the environment: the temperature should be between degrees
(2) requirements for relative humidity: this kind of insulating glass has slightly lower requirements for relative humidity, which is OK under normal conditions
however, it should be noted that qualified products from regular manufacturers should be selected as desiccants to ensure the effective use of desiccants
after the desiccant is opened, it is best to open an account in the 20th Bank: the business department of Beijing Xuanwu branch of Agricultural Bank of China should use it up within four hours, because polysulfide glue has high permeability and poor sealing, so double sealing should be used
butyl rubber is used as the leading channel seal to block gas
use two-component glue as the second seal, which is mainly used for bonding, followed by gas isolation
practice has proved that the service life of single channel sealed insulating glass is only about 5 years, while the service life of double channel sealed insulating glass can be as long as 20 years or even more. Therefore, the development of double channel sealed insulating glass is the general trend
4. Glass laminated
aluminum strip insulating glass, the distance between the outer edge of the aluminum frame and the edge of the glass after lamination should be mm, which is used to apply the second layer of sealant. The two-component glue should be applied evenly along one side to prevent bubbles. After coating, scrape off the residue on the glass surface
if there will be frost (FOG) in the test room at this point, the frost (FOG) must be removed before the processing of aluminum strip insulating glass
5. The placement of insulating glass
whether the placement of insulating glass is correct or not will also have an impact on the final quality of insulating glass, whether in production, transportation or storage at the construction site
first of all, the design requirements of the stacking frame should take into account the characteristics of insulating glass, and the stacking frame should have a certain inclination. However, the bottom plane and the side should always be kept at 90 degrees, so as to ensure that the bottom edges of the two pieces of insulating glass can be placed vertically on the stacking frame
in addition, it should be noted that the bottom of the glass should not be stained with oil stains, lime and other compatibilizers, because they will erode the second sealant of the insulating glass to varying degrees, thus affecting the sealing performance of the insulating glass
in order to improve the sound insulation and heat insulation effect of insulating glass, the manufacturer adopts the process of pumping out the air in the insulating glass and injecting inert gas into the insulating glass, which further improves the performance of insulating glass
