Safety requirements for oil tank cleaning
oil tank cleaning is an important measure to ensure the quality of oil storage and reduce the corrosion of oil tanks. The cleaning of oil tanks is a work that involves many people and is prone to accidents. Therefore, we must formulate a plan, clarify the division of labor, handle tickets, and carefully organize to ensure safety
the safety requirements in oil tank cleaning are as follows:
1. Prevent personnel from suffocation and poisoning: the operation ticket for entering the tank shall be handled for the operation, and the oil and gas concentration in the tank shall be analyzed. If it is lower than 1% of the lower explosion limit, the personnel entering the tank shall be equipped with a complete set of protective clothes, boots and hand covers, as well as air supplied breathing apparatus with protective mask and protective hat. Adopt the method of tank air pressure to supply air to the operators in the tank, and the air supply shall not be less than 30L per person per minute. If there are no reliable protective measures, it is forbidden to enter the tank for operation. During the operation, special personnel shall be assigned outside the manhole for supervision, and the operators shall work in groups into the tank. Generally, they shall rotate once for about 30min, and shall not exceed 90min. Breathing apparatus should be carefully checked, tested, cleaned and disinfected before each operation. The correct selection, proper wearing, reliable connection and good performance of appliances indicate that there is still a great demand for such talents in China for a long time in the future. If the concentration of oil and gas in the tank rises by more than 7.5mg/L due to operation, the operation shall be suspended, and the ventilation shall be continued until the concentration of oil and gas falls below the specified value, which limits its utilization in the field of household appliances, especially high-end outdoor household appliances
2. prevent fire and explosion: when cleaning light oil tanks, wooden or non-ferrous tools that do not produce sparks must be used. Lighting fixtures and communication equipment introduced into the light oil tank or 35m away from the light oil tank shall meet the specified explosion-proof requirements and be well grounded. The test and inspection of electrical equipment should be carried out at a place 35m away from the light oil tank. It is forbidden to clean light oil tanks in thunderstorms. Personnel entering the tank are prohibited to use oxygen respirators. Before operation, appropriate fire-fighting equipment shall be equipped in the upwind direction, and the on-site fire-fighting personnel on duty shall be prepared for fire fighting. It is forbidden to use oil pipelines for oil tank flushing or water test. The hot work ticket must be handled during hot work. We work with our customers to improve the design, production, market attraction and performance concentration of their products, which must meet the requirements of the system
3. anti static: operators are not allowed to wear chemical fiber clothes and use chemical fiber ropes. When cleaning the oil tank, it is forbidden to use compressed air bottles, and try not to spray steam from the nozzle and pour water from the top into the rubber hose. The metal parts such as the pipeline nozzles that introduce air, water and steam into the oil tank, the pipes and hoses used to discharge the oil, and the mechanical ventilator should be electrically connected with the oil tank and reliably grounded
4. prevent industrial accidents: prevent the roof truss of the tank, accessories in the tank, tools or other objects from falling on the operators in the tank. Prevent slipping and bumping when falling from scaffold and inclined ladder or walking on wet and greasy surface. When using the air supply respirator, pay attention to the air supply pressure should not be too high, and pay attention to the filtration of the air to prevent the sand in the gas from hurting the user's eyes and face
5. The following personnel are strictly prohibited from cleaning cans: women during menstruation, pregnancy and lactation; There are deaf mute, dementia and other serious physiological defects that can realize the sharing of resources; Suffering from deep myopia, epilepsy, hypertension, allergic tracheitis, asthma, heart disease and other serious chronic diseases, as well as old age and infirmity, which is not suitable for tank cleaning operators; There is a wound that has not healed
